Roger Williams exceeds $1.3 million.
Austin, TX – For the third consecutive reporting period, former Texas Secretary of State Roger Williams leads all Republican U.S. Senate candidates in campaign fundraising. The most recent Federal Election Commission reports show that Williams has expanded his fundraising lead on his fellow GOP candidates in the race to succeed Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison.

"Main street is angry — the government is taking over the banks, the automakers, the insurance companies and health care. Running a business, I know firsthand the challenges every day Texans are facing to put food on the table, clothes on their backs and make ends meet. Now is the time for leadership, not politics and that is why people are joining our team."
The latest reports filed with the Secretary of the U.S. Senate cover July 1st through September 30th of this year. Roger Williams has now led all GOP candidates for three consecutive reporting periods.
"Texans tell me that they want to go with a business person to fill Texas’ next open Senate seat. That has given me an advantage in gathering supporters."
