Nolan Ryan Endorses Roger Williams for U.S. Senate
Nolan Ryan today endorsed Roger Williams for U.S. Senate. Ryan a Hall of Fame great had record breaking seasons playing for the New York Mets, California Angels, Houston Astros and Texas Rangers. Ryan was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999 and currently serves as President of the Texas Rangers Baseball Club.
Ryan is perhaps best known for his 100 MPH fastballs, his record 5,714 strikeouts and seven no-hitters. He is also known as a strong business man; from his cattle business to his baseball interests he knows what it takes to be a leader in both the baseball world and the business world. He is also the author of six books.
“Roger Williams will make a great U.S. Senator,” said Ryan. “With high unemployment and a struggling economy, Washington can use more people with his business experience.”
“I am proud to have Nolan Ryan’s endorsement,” said Roger Williams. “Anyone trying to put together a winning team here in Texas, in politics or in baseball, would want to have Nolan Ryan pitching for their team.”

In baseball or in politics good decision making is the key to success. Roger is an excellent pick for U.S. Senate.”
