In Full Gear
Now that the primary has ended the race for the U.S. Senate is in full gear. Recently, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram wrote a story about the race and the candidates who are running:
LINK: Texans gear up for Senate race...
Since a special election will be called with in a few weeks of Senator Hutchison resignation, the articles notes that “anyone who wants to grab the ghost seat has to be raising cash now to be taken seriously.”
That is exactly what we are doing and that is why our campaign in the driver’s seat. The article points out that we have collected “more than $1.5 million” and have “more than $832,000 on hand.”
No other candidate has that kind of money. Elizabeth Aimes Jones has only $530,000 and Michael Williams has only $57,000.
There simply won’t be time to raise money once the special election is called. Besides, these numbers indicate that Texans are already voting with their pocketbooks and they are undoubtedly voting for Roger Williams.
So let’s get ready to bring our message of real change and real economic growth to Washington. We need to send a business leader to the Senate. And I’m ready to be that leader.

Roger, best wishes in your effort and congratulations on your money raising activities todate. We’re sort of put off with politics, in general. I can’t even get my street fixed. I’d appreciate your input on what I ought to consider as a next step--
Sincerely
