Business Summit?

So this is how the Obama Administration creates jobs: it convenes a summit at the White House with a few token business people to talk about plans for creating more spending and more government. Where was the Chamber of Commerce? Where was the National Federation of Independent Business? Where was WORKING AMERICA?

Why am I not surprised? After all, it has been reported that this administration has the fewest Cabinet members with business experience of any recent administration. Less than one out of every ten Obama cabinet secretaries has business experience. Why are we surprised that they don’t know how to turn the economy around and create jobs? How can you understand business when you’ve never worked in business?

A businessman could have told him what life is like in a time of economic difficulty. They could tell him about having to struggle to meet payroll, fight to sell product, work extra hard to stay profitable and simply cash flow. Instead, the president is determined to keep taxes high and some are even thinking about another stimulus.

ANOTHER stimulus? Are you kidding? After we just spent $800 billion and the unemployment rate went UP?

That’s not smart and that’s not leadership. What we had yesterday was another example of an administration that is long on symbols and short on substance.

That’s why we need to send business people to Washington who will fight for lower taxes, less government and freeze spending. Someone that will fight for you and someone that you can count on. That is why I am running for U.S.Senate. I look forward to the debate.
